Program Fees

The MPS in Clinical Psychological Science uses the term academic calendar. There are four 12-week terms: I (fall), II (winter), III (spring), IV (summer). See Approved 12-Week Term Calendar for a specific academic year. Reflects start/end dates and observed holidays.

Explanation of Program Fees

Program Tuition

  • Charged at the University-approved program rate to program-admitted students. The academic year runs from fall term through the following summer term.

Campus Graduate Student Services Fee

  • Term I-Fall or Term-III Spring: Assessed to students based on the number of registered credits for a given semester for programs held on campus. Supports campus facilities use and maintenance, health services, campus-wide technology services, student registration services, recreation center, shuttle bus, libraries, police, computer labs, writing language labs, and disability support services.   • Term II Winter: Charged for any course registration. Covers Winter Session support services including campus facilities use and maintenance, health services, campus-wide technology services, student registration services, shuttle bus, libraries, police, computer labs, writing language labs, and disability support services.  Does not cover access to recreation center. Current UMD students who have registered for the upcoming spring semester have access. 
  • Term IV Summer: Supports campus facilities use and maintenance, health services, campus-wide technology services, student registration services, recreation center, shuttle bus, libraries, police, computer labs, writing language labs, and disability support services.

Please note: Notwithstanding any other provision of this or any other University publication, the University reserves the right to make changes in tuition, fees, and other charges at any time such changes are deemed necessary by the University and the University System of Maryland Board of Regents. Although changes in tuition, fees, and charges ordinarily will be announced in advance, the University reserves the right to make such changes without prior announcement.
