The information posted below pertains to courses beginning with the following sections: 01**, 02**, 03**, 04**, 05**, 06**, WB**, HY**, I1**, I2**.  Other section numbers are program-specific and students should contact the specific program for complete information.

Tuition

Charged at the per-credit rate based on student type (undergraduate/graduate) and residency. Determination of residency status for tuition is made according to the Board of Regents Policy on Student Residency Classification

On-Campus Mandatory Student Services Fee

Charged for any course registration that requires students to come to campus, even if only for one class meeting. Assessed for each six-week session:  Session I, including I-A or I-B combined; Session II, including II-C or II-D combined. Supports campus facilities use and maintenance, shuttle bus, police, health center, student union, recreation services, libraries, technology services, enrollment services, and disability support services.

Off-Campus Mandatory Student Services Fee

Charged for any course registration that does not require students to come to campus (e.g., internships, courses offered completely online). Assessed for each six-week session: Session I, including I-A or I-B combined; Session II, including II-C or II-D combined. Supports libraries, campus-wide technology services, enrollment services, and disability support services.

Shady Grove Student Services Fee

Applies to students enrolled in a Shady Grove course (section code 01Zx or 02Zx). Covers summer support services at the Shady Grove location. Assessed for each six-week session: Session I, including I-A or I-B combined; Session II, including II-C or II-D combined. If students are enrolled in College Park campus sections in addition to these sections, then both sets of student services fees will be assessed.

Course-related Fees

Some courses charge an additional fee—lab, studio, or materials. Course fees should be noted on Testudo and may run $30 to $60 per course. When submitting payment following registration, the course-related fee should be included.  If not paid within thirty-days of registration, finance charges may accrue.

Note

Notwithstanding any other provision of this or any other University publication, the University reserves the right to make changes in tuition, fees and other charges at any time such changes are deemed necessary by the University and the University System of Maryland Board of Regents. Although changes in tuition, fees and charges ordinarily will be announced in advance, the University reserves the right to make such changes without prior announcement.
