Program Package Fees 2017

Residential Course Package Fee: $3,545. The residential course package fee is composed of the following elements:

  1. Course tuition: $1,056
    Tuition charged at the approved Summer Term 2017 per credit rate of $ 352 x 3 credits.
  2. Campus Student Services fee: $268
    Covers campus facilities use and maintenance; health services; campus-wide technology services, student registration services, recreation center; shuttle bus; libraries; police; computer labs, Writing language labs; and disability support services.
  3. Residential program fee: $2,221
    Covers field trip transportation costs; guest speaker fees; seminars and workshops; social activities and events; 19 nights lodging (single, double, triple or quad) in an air-conditioned residence hall (arrival July 9, check-out July 28 by 6 p.m.); and meals (19 breakfasts, 17 lunches, and 19 dinners). Please note: Residential students are responsible for 2 weekend lunches.

Commuter Course Package Fee: $2,325. The commuter course package fee is composed of the following elements:

  1. Course tuition: $1,056
    Tuition charged at the approved Summer Term 2017 per credit rate of $ 352 x 3 credits.
  2. Campus Student Services fee: $268
    Covers campus facilities use and maintenance; health services; campus-wide technology services, student registration services, recreation center; shuttle bus; libraries; police; computer labs, Writing language labs; and disability support services.
  3. Commuter program fee: $1,001
    Covers field trip transportation costs; guest speaker fees; seminars and workshops; social activities and events; and 15 weekday lunches (July 10-28).

International Residential Course Package Fee: $3,745. The international residential course package fee is composed of the following elements:

  1. Course tuition: $1,056
    Tuition charged at the approved Summer Term 2017 per credit rate of $ 352 x 3 credits.
  2. Campus Student Services fee: $268
    Covers campus facilities use and maintenance; health services; campus-wide technology services, student registration services, recreation center; shuttle bus; libraries; police; computer labs, Writing language labs; and disability support services.
  3. Residential program fee: $2,421
    Covers field trip transportation costs; guest speaker fees; seminars and workshops; social activities and events; 19 nights lodging (single, double, triple or quad) in an air-conditioned residence hall (arrival July 9, check-out July 28 by 6 p.m.); and meals (19 breakfasts, 17 lunches, and 19 dinners); a linen package that include one fitted and one top sheet for a twin-size bed, one blanket, one pillowcase, two towels, and one washcloth ), and a mailing fee. Please note: Residential students are responsible for 2 weekend lunches.

Application Fee: $75. The non-refundable application fee must accompany the application.

Course Fees: Several courses in Terp Young Scholars charge an additional fee. Complete information regarding this additional fee is noted within the course description.
