August Graduation
Current UMD students who expect to complete requirements for a degree during Summer Session must apply for August graduation. The University hosts one commencement ceremony each May which includes graduates from the previous summer.
The Office of the Registrar supports this process. See Graduation and Diplomas. There are specific instructions and deadlines associated with applying for August graduation.
